My Blog Title: Pictures of Pre-historic and Now, Special Characteristics and Varieties.
At the coast of Taiwan, divers spotted a giant oarfish, commonly dwelling at deep sea of 1,000 meters and about 300 Kilograms. The fish appeared to be wounded and legend has the story of the sighting in relation to earthquakes occurrence. Another encounter is a dooms-day oarfish, about 11 meters. The fish usually lives in the deep sea. Mythical fish is believed to be an earthquake rumor. If found on the beach, the fish was oftenly dead due to seismic activity, infrasound, and toxic compounds preceding the earthquakes and tsunamis.
At Australia’s coral sea, a large swordfish was hauled onboard. The body of the fish was covered with many bites from cookie-cutter sharks. According to the Shark Research Institute, the cookie-cutter sharks have a lighting organ that lures prey like swordfish to its bites.
Clownfishes have a symbiotic relationship with sea anemones. They live amongst this colorful vegetation during their life cycle and evolution. Their diversifications of 28 species have been linked with the adaptive radiation process.
Latest snake species is the desert whip snake. The discovery distinguishes the species based on genetic research in Australia at University of Adelaid geneticist. Another strange-looking and venom injection snake is also encountered at other places. A report of Frontiers in Ethology, a study of animal behavior, discovers that snakes have an emotional state that shows contentment and familiarity with peer presence. While at Florida’s Everglades ecosystem, green anacondas is giant constrictor, the world heaviest snake. Their growing population poses a significant threat to the mammal animals like deer. With pythons co-existence, green anaconda is exotic and invasive species.
The red squirrel lives in pine forests while grey squirrel lives in mixed broadleaf woodland/forest. In this reason, one hectare of perfect woodland can support one red squirrel whereas it can support anything from three to thirty grey squirrels. The grey squirrels carry parapox virus, having no threat to themselves, yet the virus could transmit to the red squirrel. The affectionate trend between local red squirrel and introduced grey squirrel is still a problem due to human killing grey squirrel in confuse meaning of Red Vs Grey dominant concept. The grey squirrels were introduced from USA to UK in year 1870s.
Wildlifes are unpredictable. Regulation adherence is important during picnic camps, safari, and so on. Maintaining safe distance, avoiding direct eye contact, and being still, are common rules. When grizzly bear charges, when bison gores, when lion chases, are a real danger to humans. Fatal body injury, fractured bones, severe punctures, are defining moments of life and death.
Wildlifes are euthanized when they are hostile and harm humans in any circumstances. To have wolves in the suburb slopes is another story. When wolves kill animals, what cost to manage their livelihood, what indication to hunters, trappers, and other advocates, conservation organizations, are the issues of wolves’ reintroduction.
When regulations have been made to protect wildlives in conservation interests, another ragged fringed orchids have popped up in the backyard. 28,000 orchid species have evolved and grown in the globe as of current year 2023. And fig trees have diversified into 850 species in the world. Introgression during pollination is the hybridization hypothesis that spurs diversity. Scientifically, humans mutate plant genetics to improve crop’s yields, and this mutation could have its part in nature’s role of species varieties. Plant geneticists fix apple gene cultivar, so that the branches grow downward, achieving productivity growth in flowering and fruiting. Without weep architecture correction, vegetative process grows upward in leaves and branches.
