Aside from UN framework, different country has specific procedure to limit plastic usage. Plastic bag tax and levies discourage public from overuse of plastic bags, like in Ireland, Denmark, South Africa, Belgium, Hong Kong, UK, Portugal, China and Botswana. Sweden has bottle, cans, glass recycling incentives for the public at designated location. In Germany, "pfand policy", public has to deposit money to purchase beverage in plastic or glass bottle, and get the money back upon returning the plastic and glass bottle. In Pakistan, a policy required beverage company to produce beverage drink only in glass bottle.
Plastic can be produced from organic materials like corn starch, cassava, sugarcane and other fermented plant starches. This plastic production is named PLA Plastic; Polylactic Acid Plastic or Bioplastic, which quickly decompose in a period of time. Nevertheless, shall concerned crops be cultivated for PLA plastic or for Food. Can jute bag be substituted for plastic bags? No matter what, plastic is lightweight in storage facility.
Lastly, waste management is the ultimate solution. If all wastes are collected, classified in solid waste, or plastic waste, for instance, and if all wastes are properly dumped off and recycled, circular economy and sustainable development are pragmatic accomplishments. That means, what are produced are properly consumed, a healthy restart in the cycle of global environments.

Scientists, United Nations, and National Regulation find scientific ways to deal with global environment issues. Recent science method is to convert plastic waste into asphalt road substance. In Cambodia, Integrated power generation from methane wastewater treatment at ethanol distillery is part of UN project, which methane in wastewater are converted into electricity instead of dissipation into the atmosphere. Biomass power generation, for instance solar farm, wind farm, water dams, are established in many countries. Improved combustion cooked-stove also contribute to less wood burnings and fire-smoke decrease. Forest conservation has been partially purposed in this main initiative. In power use, electricity charged bus line has been operated in different city of China in accordance with UN project scheme. If we understand the derivative causes of CO2 emission and reduction in respective industry and procedures purposes, the overall UN project scheme can be quantifiable. As of 13 August 2023, UN Carbon offset platform calculates top contribution of CO2 emission reduction in cumulative number of CO2 in tonne that has been removed from emission to the atmosphere based on various purposes of projects and procedural practices.
