Plants need water, nutrients from soil and sunlight photosynthesis to produce internal food, sugar energy to power the growth in flowering, fruiting and leafy foliage. Accordingly, fruits have a sweet taste in the mix in bearings.  Plants thriving in the wildforest, grown in the garden, and planted in the pots, have different growth.
